Ingredients:

2 pkgs crescent roll pastry sheets
2 8oz pkgs softened cream cheese
1 1/3 cup sugar (divided use)
1 egg, separated
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp cinnamon
 

 
    Preparation:
     
  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.
  2. Grease 13" x 9" baking pan.
  3. Press one package crescent dough on bottom of pan.
  4. Mix together cream cheese, egg yolk, vanilla and 1 cup sugar.
  5. Spread over pastry layer.
  6. Cover with remaining pastry.
  7. Beat egg white until foamy.
  8. Mix 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Spread egg white over top of pastry.
  10. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Cool well, (I refrigerate before cutting into squares).
